My tests are normal. I still don't feel well. What would I do?

If I kept feeling unwell while my tests looked normal, I would wonder what I was missing. I would not dismiss the symptoms or immediately repeat every test.

I would note when it started, what made it better or worse, and which ordinary activities had become difficult. For example, “I need to stop on the walk to the parking lot” says more than “tired.”

At the visit, I would bring that record and my reports, ask what the tests did and did not assess, and agree on the next step and a review date. I would also write down how to contact the team if symptoms changed.

Normal results can be good news. Feeling unwell still deserves attention. I would want room for both.
